A Payment Facilitator, also called PayFac, refers to a service that allows merchants to accept online and in-store payments, in accordance with their needs, and enables them to accept multiple payment methods, to satisfy an increasingly heterogeneous clientele, while connecting them to many different acquirers, to meet their needs in terms of geography and industry.
