MOTO (Mail Order Telephone Order)

Payments M.O.T.O., i.e. transactions with manual insertion of the PAN, take place without the physical presence of the buyer. The merchant enters the buyer's card data, collected by telephone, e-mail or fax in the POS, after authorisation by the bank, or through a digital platform (e.g. the back office of the Ecommerce payment gateway). This type of payment is associated with the card-not-present payments and virtual POS.
