COF transactions (Card On File)

For this type of transaction pre-saved card credentials are used by the merchant for future purchases, in order to make the buying process quicker for recurring payments and returning customers. Card details can be stored in two different ways: either the merchant stores the credentials autonomously or they rely on a third-party provider.
