SupportFabrick DashboardWorkspace explained

Workspace explained

The architecture of the Dashboard’s information is organised in Workspaces, with the goal of making store data more functional by creating collections.

The platform is ideal to manage single Points of Sale (called Shops in the Dashboard), structured companies and more complex retail chains.

The Shops are aggregated by VAT number, it is then possible to create organizational sets that can better reflect the corporate structure, in case of more structured companies. Both individual Shops and Groups of Shops are called Workspaces because it is possible to analyze the flow of incoming payments, creating customized analyzes, by accessing each of them.

All the Shops are automatically aggregated into a group called Global. It is a dynamic Workspace that contains the aggregate sum of all the Shops on which the user who is connected to the Dashboard has visibility (because, for example, they may have visibility only on a specific Brand).

There is also a third category of Workspace called Custom, identical to Shop Groups, which can be created only in this instance directly in the Dashboard by the user. This type of Workspace allows the merchant to create aggregations of Shops according to the specific needs and to analyze the data connected to them.

Users can be assigned 2 types of permissions for each Workspace:

  • “View” - allows you to view the data of a specific Workspace
  • “Modify” - allows you to capture, refund and cancel operations on the selected data.
